What is ResAir?

The ResAir service provides wireless network access in Passy Apartments, located on Passy Crescents. It operates on a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless Ethernet compatible technology. To connect to ResAir, open an Internet browser and sign-in with a valid Passport York username and password for a 10 hour session.

How to use ResAir

  1. Setup and Configure: Make sure to set up the computer for ResAir wireless service. Hardware requirements and set-up instructions for compatible computer systems can be found here.
     
  2. Select/Connect to the ResAir Network: After setting up and configuring the computer for ResAir service, select or connect to the ResAir network service. For more information about connecting, click here.
     
  3. Log In: After connecting to the ResAir network, open a browser and sign in with a Passport York username and password. For more details, click here.
     
  4. Start Surfing: After signing in, start using the ResAir Internet service.
     
  5. Logging out of ResAir: Log-out by clicking on the ResAir pop-up window screen or shut down the computer to end the ResAir session. The ResAir session can also end if the wireless network adapter has shut down due to standby/sleep mode. ResAir sessions automatically ends after 10 hours. For more details, click here.
